Quick Strip Layouts for Quoting/Estimating

Using LogoPress StripLayout a designer can quickly create strips for quotes and tool design. An information note with estimating data is automatically created along with an Excel spreadsheet. Each includes progression, strip width, thickness, material, total force, total cutting force, total forming force, number of stations, percent of material lost, cutting punches perimeter, etc.

One of the following videos shows a strip quickly created for the purpose only obtaining estimating information. The punches are roughly sketched with no dimensions.

The other video shows a slightly longer strip creation process but, in addition to populating the estimation information, the strip is complete and is ready to design a tool around it. The punches are fully dimensioned and include mismatch/bypass notches.
