Logopress Design Manager (AKA 123GO)

There are 3 possible options when installing the free Logopress 123GO software:

• Install 123GO but turn it off under Tools, Add-ins:
  • Logopress will not appear in the SolidWorks menus but SolidWorks can now rebuild Logopress features.
• Install 123GO and allow the add-on to be turned on:
  • Logopress appears as a SolidWorks pull down menu item, and also appears as a command manager tab. Besides allowing Logopress features to be recognized and rebuilt, the user now has access to the Logopress filters that are on the Logopress command manager tab so that a die created with Logopress can be quickly manipulated to hide or show any combination of the upper, middle and lower die assemblies and the strip assembly.
  • The Logopress Assembly Color/Transparency command can be used. With this command the user can take a design that was created using transparency for the designer’s convenience and turn it solid in a matter of seconds, making design reviews much easier because the inner components of the die are no longer visible.
• Install 123GO and allow the add-on to be turned on and register and request a free license for 123GO by Logopress:
  • Besides having the functionality listed above under points 1 and 2, the user is now also able to access the full functionality of the free 123GO product. This includes the ability to insert or edit basic fasteners and dowels (including simultaneously: 1) creating and inserting the fasteners 2) creating all the holes and 3) adding mates) that are included in the free 123GO Standard Component Library and have access to the various automatic patterning commands in Logopress.
  • Logopress DIE DEBUGGER (die simulation) that the die designer had previously done can be played, allowing the people doing the design review to see the die operating as if it was in the press! Pause, play, slow down, etc.

123GO also includes a small portion of the Logopress Intelligent Component Library
